Business Development Manger


Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business by leveraging the consultative approach to potential clients of Structure. Through the approved sales methods, this position is responsible for identification and execution of business development strategies, outreach to build relationships, and securing new accounts, while maximizing sources of revenue.

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

  • Understand, demonstrate and promote the principles of the Company's Mission and Values.

  • Leverage various lead generation methods, including social media, short and long-term opportunities and prospects, to meet or exceed established revenue goals.

  • Monitor sales on an ongoing basis and make adjustments/modifications as needed.

  • Coordinate and submit proposals to current and prospective client companies, referral sources, healthcare consultants and other interested parties.

  • Develop and build relationships with engineers, architects, technology manufacturers, general contractors and real estate to generate new business referrals.

  • Locate and/or propose potential business deals by exploring potential partnerships in the marketplace.

  • Track status of new business efforts through the data base and/or other reports as appropriate.

  • Coordinate efforts, strategies and relationships with various associations/organizations for new business opportunities.

  • Review and provide input on marketing/business development materials to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Monitor market trends/needs and track competition to provide recommendations for changes as needed.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, Behavioral Sciences, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training & Development. Engineers welcome with a knack of above skills. We will accept equivalent business experience.

  • Measurable track record of success in external sales/business development.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.

  • Scheduling flexibility and ability to travel as required.

  • Computer skills/proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to effectively function and operate in a rapidly changing and diverse environment.

  • Proactively seek and assess opportunities, plan, implement and evaluate results.

  • Ability to cope with difficult and/or urgent situations requiring immediate decisions.

  • Well organized and the ability to multi-task.

Job Type: Commission

First Year Anticipated Earnings: $75,000.00 to $150,000.00

Job Location: Central TX, West, TX, Gulf Coast, TX

Required education: Bachelor's or equivalent business experience

Required experience: Sales: 2 years, Business Development: 2 years
